Text Generation: Powerful, Intuitive, and... Customizable!
Hello world; the text generation feature has evolved once again!
The goal is simple: to provide you with the most powerful and tailored writing tool for your needs. To achieve this, Peter leverages the power of Gemini 2.5 Pro (Google), a reasoning language model capable of in-depth analysis of up to 1000 pages of documents (PDF, Word, PPT, etc.) and images.
A More Intuitive Text Generation Experience
The generation interface remains intentionally streamlined to let you focus on what's essential: your ideas, your instructions, and your attachments.
- Attach Files: Easily attach images or documents (.docx, .pdf, .txt). Peter analyzes their content to create text that is perfectly aligned with your instructions and the data you provide.
- Cloud Documents: Connect your cloud-saved documents to enrich your generations with specific contexts, templates, or databases.
- Voice Recorder: Use your voice to dictate your instructions or the content of your text. Ideal for capturing your ideas on the fly, without having to type.
- Assistants: The big new feature! Pre-configured profiles for specific tasks, allowing you to get even more precise results. More details below.
Why is Text Generation so Important?
For its flexibility! Peter can write any type of text (summary, letter, blog post, etc.) based on the documents you attach and your instructions. You have the option to detail a template to be used, ensuring consistency.
Discover the Assistants!
This is where your writing experience takes on a whole new dimension. I am pleased to introduce the Assistants: pre-configured, specialized versions for specific tasks.
Gone are the days of rewriting the same style or format instructions. Now, you can either use an existing assistant or create a new one.
Select an Assistant:
Choose from a selection of assistants already optimized for common tasks.
- Peter: The versatile, default assistant for any type of text.
- Proofreader: Improve the grammar and correct the spelling mistakes in your texts.
- Summarizer: Condense and simplify the most complex texts to make information more accessible.
- Translator: Translate your texts while preserving their context and meaning.
Create Your Own Assistant:
You can create your own custom assistant by specifying its role, format, tone, as well as its information sources or databases. The only limit is your imagination. Here is an example of how to create an assistant:
Lea (Teacher) Simplifies Grading 📝
Lea, a primary school teacher, saves a huge amount of time with Peter. She uses the 'Proofreader' assistant to transform her grading experience. For example, Lea can take a photo of her students' dictation exercises. Peter identifies and corrects the errors, transcribes everything clearly and accurately, and provides a detailed explanation for each one.
She can then save all the individualized documents in the 'Dictation March 2025' folder. She can then send them to the parents, asking Peter to write a personalized email for each one.
Brendan (Event Manager) Promotes His Events 🎉
Brendan works for the city. He regularly organizes cultural events and wants to attract a wider audience. He sets up an 'Event Communication' Assistant that:
- Writes posts for social media.
- Produces descriptions for websites and newsletters.
- Adopts a dynamic and engaging tone, while adapting to each type of audience.
For his next festival, he provides the main information (location, date, lineup) and asks: "Create an Instagram post with a festive tone and a more formal LinkedIn post to announce the event." The assistant prepares texts for each communication channel, tailored to each type of audience.
Peter Adapts to Your Reality
Whether you are a researcher, marketer, lawyer, student, or content creator, the combination of document analysis and customizable assistants allows you to shape a writing tool that perfectly integrates with your field and workflow.
